Home Means Indiana

I AM ALL settled in and could not be happier to be back in Bloomington.
I would like to believe that I have made Phillip Phillips proud by making this place my home. They say that you are not a college student until you have made it to your second semester. And, well, I have survived.

Bloomington, Winter 2013.

LAST SEMESTER WAS an adjustment at best.
I learned that it was in fact possible for me to become homesick, you are where you are for a reason, and I have the opportunity to make these next three and a half years some of the best of my life.

I AM GOING to do the aforementioned by trying my best to plan everything out.
I want to discover as much of campus as possible and make as many memories as I can. That being said, I will more likely be inclined to see my goals through if I share them.

1. Once and for all become a Hoosier by attending all of the IUBB games I have tickets to (Michigan, Nebraska and Purdue).
2. Eat at the restaurants I have wanted to try out in downtown Bloomington (Turkuaz Cafe, Lucky Express, Sweet Claire’s Bakery, Darn Good Soup, and Olive Market).
3. Become active on campus through the causes that matter to me (IIPAC, Aish HaTorah, IUSA, and IUDM).
4. Attend a performance at the Musical Arts Center.
5. See a student-run play.
6. Tour the Lilly Library and Art Museum.
7. Go to Aish on Fridays for Shabbat.
8. Take a weeknight class at HPER.
9. Take weekend trips to Indy and Nashville.
10. Finally, write about my experiences.
